China Now Has 700M Active Smartphone Users, Says Report

China is a Developed country in means of everything; they controlled their population by one child policy and became more imminent country. China is a leading country in terms of technology development and using it. The number of active Smartphone user in very huge yes it exceeded 700 million by end of 2013 says a new report from Market Analytics Umeng. There is over 41% crowd purchasing their first phone and rest is upgrading from one model to another. China became the world’s first largest mobile market in 2011. For the first time the Smartphone demand increasing in way that decreasing the Shipments that’s because phones prices are decreasing gradually. Companies still seeing china as a growing country and trying to fix their feet deep into Market and Samsung and Apple did it well by offering their flagship devices as a feasible price enough to buy.


Umeng Wrote on blog post “iPhone users are also now less likely to jailbreak their phones, thanks to China’s new status as one of Apple’s launch markets; tools like Kuaiyong Apple Assistant, which offers free versions of paid iOS apps; and security concerns about jailbroken devices. Last year, the percentage of jailbroken iPhones in mainland China fell to 13% from 30% at the beginning of the year. Though the Android marketplace is still highly fragmented, with more than 100 manufacturers, Samsung and Xiaomi still dominate. The two companies made all of the top 10 Android devices in 4Q 2013.”


If we talk about the market king as Mobile operating system, so android did it well with 57% of market share because most of the mobile sold, were android phones which costs less than $350 but people still mad about expensive and classic phones like iPhone and other Chinese phone makers that costs above $500 consumes 27% of market.
