Israeli Prime Minister Decides the Polygraph Testing of Candidates



Binyamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel has recently decided to conduct polygraph test of each of the participants involved in cabinet meeting for discussion of country’s security. The main objective of Israeli Prime Minister is to identify the spying source, because of which Netanyahu and other ministers failed to have discussions on some of the sensitive issues. The reports of channel 2 has revealed that Yoram Cohen, head of the Israeli security group named Shin Bet has taken an appointment with Yehuda Weinstein, Attorney General to discuss over security issues.  However, last month, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu adjourned the second part of cabinet meeting in dramatic and unprecedented move.

In fact, it was just after a small duration, prime minister had announced to put a halt over security meeting in the cabinet. The meeting was held to deal with annual assessment of intelligence community of both Iran as well as Israel. After adjourning the meeting, Netanyahu had given explanation in front of the public regarding the issued statement of his office. Binyamin Netanyahu commented, “Something grave had definitely taken place after adjourning of our cabinet meeting. The grave has compelled me to conduct polygraph testing of each of our members involved in the meeting. Just like people are using the common mobile accessories such as, Bluetooth headsets, Iphone speakers,Keyboards etc, similarly there are many departments who are making the use of LVA technology for investigation purposes.Polygraph testing is one of the basic tools used in security and safety management of Israel.” He further said that security and safety of any country, especially of Israel is solely dependent upon the capability of cabinet to in holding some in-depth discussions, in which opinions, facts and implications were represented in best possible ways.
