The polygraph test has been the main
way to investigate any cases by the law makers, law defense and police. The recommendation
from train probation officer to be Lie Detector examiners and start the
Satellite tagging has been accepted by the Devon and Cornwall’s police and
crime commissioner Tony Hogg, despite the fact that the polygraph is still an
unreliable source to testify anything. The Lie detector will sense your emotions by the sensors built in and Sex offenders will now be getting much attention
from police and facing the world’s toughest approaches to supervision according
to the justice minister. The probation officers are beginning training to be
polygraph examiner and putting the sex offenders in the group of people under
maximum surveillance. Around 1000 people will be checking that they are working
as their license conditions. But the scientific community shares some different
thoughts on the precision of the test say that they were using the other strategy
among the sex offenders but with insufficient evidence lacking the outcomes.

falmouthpacket says “The
National Academy of Sciences in the USA, has said that the idea of valid
detection of truth or falsehood through measuring respiratory rate, blood
volume, pulse rate and galvanic skin response is a "mere pretense".
Adding that psychologists cannot ascertain what emotions one has, with or
without the use of polygraph. It measure arousal, which can be caused by
anxiety, anxiety disorders such as PTSD, nervousness, fear, confusion.”
There are hundreds of ways by which they
can fool the examiners and test too, for example the famous cases in Soviet Union
spies, where they have successfully passed the test by having a steel pin
beneath the shoe. Several people have challenged each other to take the test
such as Frank Rizzo Jr Challenged by Neil Oxman so polygraph isn’t reliable but
people have faith that they will get answer from it so it is good to take the
test.
