After Twitter Turkish Government is On Google

Just after the week, when twitter got vanished from Turkey and people using it Google DNS but government blocked it too. Now Turkish government is on Google’s YouTube and the telecommunications authority filed ban on YouTube. The information from sources explained that the blockage appears when a recorded material of Top government experts and military officials discussing the security situation in Syria. This material was claimed to be the recorded conversation of government’s politicians, which are talking about how to justify the air attack against Syria. In response Turkish Foreign ministry said that recording was altered and misleading the listeners and first degree threat to National Security.  Due to the entire Ban and all video-sharing YouTube is broadly available to entire country. User’s a accessing it through different VPN’s and proxies.

Wall Street Journal posted “Turkish authorities pressed Thursday to block access to YouTube following similar action against Twitter, a move sure to provoke further outrage in a country where social media is widely used. Turkey’s technology minister, Fikri Isik, said the national telecommunications authority was imposing the block “as a precaution” after an audio recording of a government security meeting was leaked on the video-sharing website. Despite the government’s actions, YouTube was still widely accessible following the announcement.”

This move is also to rest all people unknown to the scams and corruptions because country is on election these days. Turkey is partnering with US and European Union to disparage on attack on Free speech. But with all problems and blocking Turkish citizens are capable to open all services to different networks available to them all the time, when Government blocked twitter and now YouTube but seems this effort from officials is failed because people from country is still accessing it.
